GREAT way to exercise!
Started water aerobics tonight at Tukwila Pool (Foster, to those of us who grew up here)
It was an amazing, exhilarating hour that was not harmful for my arthritic joints. Great way to spend a couple hours a week. I go on Tuesday and Thursdays 6pm-7pm!~ Let me know if you want to go. Very good for you and fun!!

SHARK STEAM POCKET MOP
BEST $130 I've spent in a long time! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and this has saved me from being in pain while I mop my floors. I love the way it swivels, you get to use both sides of the pocket pad, and you can pump it while you push to get a lot of steam out. It's GREAT! I did my entry way, bathroom and kitchen all in about 25min! I'm done with Swiffers forever! No more heavy scrubbing or cleaning solutions, just my shark steam and water.

Top 5 benefits of being single!
1) No one is telling you to stop eating those twinkies, cheeze-nips and brownies at midnight.
2) There's no one to complain about the way or place you sleep in the bed.
3) No one will tell you when or how to clean the house.(or that it's not good enough)
4) You can watch whatever you want on the tv. (after the kids are in bed, of course)
5) My FAVORITE! You can vacuum naked in the bedroom after your shower and not get attacked or looked at. (after the kids are in bed of course again. It's actually very liberating!)

NEWS: Escaped killer caught!
I'm sorry but, why is a convicted killer in a mental institute? Why is he allowed to take "field trips"?? It's harder for me to get enough permission slips and medical releases for my kids to go on field trips with their school than it seems it is to go to the Puyallup fair as a convicted killer who's supposed to be locked up "serving time." Sounds like Washington once again is too lenient on our convicts, especially killers. No wonder we're the largest breeding ground in the states for serial killers, they get away with the least punishment, if we ever catch them!! This makes me furious the way our system works against the victims so often! How awful to be afraid your mother's killer is out on the loose in the same area you still live where he killed her. She should sue that institution for her mentality while he was out running free.

Sweet Sundays
I Love Sundays! Family day, worshiping with my friends and family and then a nice big dinner to top it off. I am grateful for the true gospel and being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My daughter gave a great talk in primary today. God is good and Jesus Christ is my Savior and the only way to eternity. Bless you all!

5 Quick Cleaning Tips

By no means am I the best house cleaner out there, BUT these 5 quick tips have helped me keep up with the house, while working, finishing my AAS degrees, taking care of my babies, (human and animal kinds, seen to the right) and keeping up with family, church and school activities. We're all so busy nowadays and using every opportunity to multi-task and/or squeeze in some house work somewhere in the midst of our craziness can be so helpful in being less stressed.
1) Use a Lysol or Clorox disinfectant wipe to wipe down your bathroom each morning (after the kids have used the bathroom to get ready) This keeps it clean for any unexpected guests or bathroom users and keeps germs away providing a healthier household.
2) Spray the shower right after using it with bleach cleaner, especially inside the grout and or high mold/mildew areas. Let it sit all day, then wash it out before your next use. No scrubbing necessary and this can be done daily or 3-5 times a week. This helps cut down on mildew. If you have a squeegie (sqee-gee) sp? wipe the walls and/or doors out while still in it before doing the bleach cleaner.
3) Unload and/or load your dishwasher while waiting for something else in the kitchen. I do this while I'm cooking, warming something up etc. Then you can keep it constantly filled, cleaning and/or have your sink and counter space without dirty dishes. You'd be surprised what you can get done in 3-5 minutes while waiting for leftovers to warm or water to boil.
4) Make your bed every morning. (Even if there's other things out of place in the room a made bed is nice to see and come home to) Keep a "pet sheet and/or blanket" on the end of the bed for animals. This saves your bedding and doesn't let the room or bed stink like them, while they still get some bed and cuddle time with you. Just take it off and leave on the floor when they're not in so people don't sit on it. (Those are my babies above, on my bed, Fredy and Odie)
5) shake your rugs right after you walk in the door in the evening from work, school etc. After you put your shoes in the shoe box and your purse and keys away just turn around in the entry way and shake you inside and outside rugs outside the entry way to present a nice entrance for guests at anytime. This also saves your carpet from extra outdoor dirt, pine needles etc. that you only have to vacuum once a week rather than more if you can keep your entryway cleaner.
Of course there's always more to clean, but this is a few handy tips that help keep simple things clean for an unexpected guest.
